Some people will use the MY/MINE sign instead of the I/ME sign – this is okay! Generally we will use I/ME as the MY/MINE sign is a possessive pronoun which is generally used for something they own or possess, usually an object, person, animal, etc. A name isn’t something you can actually touch, so we generally just use I/ME as more in the sense of “I am named…”
Fingerspelling tip: Your transition from letter to letter should be pretty steady. No stamping or bouncing. Notice how Zoée does a little slide when she signs E? This is to represent the double letters in her name.
